A Scarlet Oak Tree was selected. The tree has beautiful fall color, a wonderful mature height of 70-75 feet with a canopy width reaching 40-45 feet all excellent for providing beauty and shade in the years to come.
The Tree was purchased from Eagle Creek who then delivered and planted the Tree.
A dedication ceremony is planned for late spring 2009.
