Rosemary Zamecnik decided on her own, after thinking that our area did not have a garden club to put an ad in the local newspaper asking if anyone would be interested. She arranged for a meeting room at the Library and to her surprise fifteen people showed up.
Thus it all began, in 2000, the Nordonia Hills Garden Club was formed with Rosemary Zamecnik as President.
They started meeting and learning from each other by sharing their gardening knowledge, having plant sales, speakers and doing community service projects. Since then, the club has outgrown their previous meeting room at the Library and now hold monthly club meetings at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Northfield, OH. (Valley View Road & Route 8)
